Raptor AD-VW1 (Metra 40-VW10) Antenna Adapter for Select 1973-2017 Audi/BMW/Mercedes/VW

This Antenna Adaptor fits many European vehicles, including the new 2008-up SMART fortwo/451, and allows AM/FM radio when installing an aftermarket car stereo. The adapter allows you to replace the factory stereo with any aftermarket radio and receive AM/FM signals as the factory antenna adapter is not the standard aftermarket size. Installation is straight forward and simple. If you are planning on changing the radio in your VW/Mercedes/BMW/SMART car, this Antenna Adaptor is typically required.
  • Factory Antenna to Aftermarket Radio Adapter
  • For select 1988-2005 Audi/BMW/Mercedes vehicles
  • Factory antenna with flat plug to aftermarket radio
  • A capacitor is included to match the impedance
  • Some newer European radios also have capacitors that do not allow this adapter to work properly (try using 40-VW12)
