Engineered exclusively for the new 8-inch Pioneer¬ģ Modular Solutions Receiver (DMH-C5500NEX) Radio

Pioneer designed a unique solution in the DMH-C5500NEX digital multimedia receiver, which consists of a "black box" and a separate 8" touchscreen connected by a proprietary cable. Not surprisingly, your standard double-DIN dash kit won't accommodate this kind of touchscreen. So, Metra worked with Pioneer to provide this unique "floating" double-DIN

The Metra 108-UN02 kit "floats" the Pioneer DMH-C5500NEX's 8" screen in front of your vehicle's factory radio location using a series of brackets that provide the ability to mount the DMH-C5500NEX's chassis into the pocket location of the majority of Double-DIN kits (sold separately) for a variety of vehicle applications.
