The Klipsch KL-525-THX Flat Panel Speaker is a flat panel speaker primarily designed for use as a left, center or right channel in premium home theater applications. However it can also be used as a surround channel for a realistic, detailed cinema experience.

Sharing the same research and development of the Klipsch professional cinema systems, this speaker possesses a THX certification, achieved through a rigorous process to ensure top quality sound reproduction. The Ultra2 specification making it ideal for use in home cinemas of 3,000 cubic feet or more.

With a maximum continuous power rating of 100 watts (400 watts peak) and an 8 ohms impedance, the impressive KL-525-THX features a 1" titanium dome tweeter and dual 5.25" Cerametallic cone woofers. Each driver is magnetically shielded, and the tweeter pairs with a Tractrix horn to disperse these high frequencies evenly. This technology also allows for high sensitivity, low distortion, and flat frequency response.

With a sturdy MDF cabinet finished in Galaxy Black, this speaker's looks match its sonic capabilities. It blends effortlessly with any decor while adding a touch of sophistication to any space. Additional features like bi-wiring and amping capability as well as custom internal wiring make the KL-525-THX truly top of the line.

THX Certified
As a THX certified home audio product, the KL-525-THX is engineered to be best-in-class and was designed from the ground up to give you the full impact of movies, video games and music experiences. This allows for a performance as good as the equipment used to create the content.

Tractrix Horn Technology
A 10 x 6" Tractrix horn with a 90° x 60° angle allows for increased efficiency of the 1" titanium dome tweeter and creates a very wide dispersion pattern. This horn also meets the THX Ultra2 directivity specifications without the lobing or comb-filtering effects of some multi-tweeter applications.

Ultra2 Specification
An Ultra2 specification means this speaker is ideal for an installation in a home cinema with a room measuring 3,000 cubic feet (85 m³) in size, with a viewing distance of 12 feet or more from your screen.

Exceptional Audio
With a frequency response of 80Hz - 20kHz, this speaker delivers premium audio from clear high frequencies to rich, full bass that you can hear and feel, with your subwoofer taking over below 80Hz in a THX-approved configuration. For low frequencies, dual 5.25" woofers have magnetically shielded motor structures to drive Cerametallic cones, ultimately allowing for high output and low distortion.

Custom Internal Wiring
Custom Monster Cable Z Series speaker wire is employed for the internal wiring. A Frequency Specific design uses several gauges of high-purity copper wire that is carefully selected and wound to allow the best signal transfer at all frequencies. It is recommended to use a minimum of 16AWG or heavier stranded copper wire and lower gauge wire for long runs to maintain the right frequency response and reduce power loss.

Bi-Wiring
This allows for a lower electrical resistance between the amplifier and speaker than single-wiring with the same gauge cable. The KL-525-THX can be bi-wired by connecting one cable to the tweeter binding posts and another to the woofer binding posts. Running both cables back to the amplifier or receiver, you can attach them to the same channel.
Bi-Amping
With support of bi-amplification, you can drive the tweeter and woofers using separate amplifiers fed from the same preamp output. For bi-amplification purposes, the same model amplifier for the tweeter and woofer sections is necessary to prevent frequency response errors from contrasting amplifier gains.
Quality Binding Posts
The back of the unit features two sets of binding posts, one for the tweeter and another for the woofers. For conventional wiring, the sets are connected with gold-plated metal straps, but can be removed for bi-wiring or bi-amping purposes. The binding posts accept bare wire, metal pins and spade lugs.

Sturdy Construction
A professional grade dado and rabbet technique is implemented in the construction of the KL-525-THX, creating a locked panel cabinet that delivers pure, consistent and reliable sound. An outer Galaxy Black cabinet with black anodized aluminum fascia ensures this quality speaker blends well with your other components and accents your space.

Omni-Mount Suspension Points
This speaker is configured for use with Omni-Mount 60.0 series wall and ceiling mount brackets for flexible placement options to customize your sound. Back-panel threaded inserts can be used for a ceiling or wall mounting.
